There is a family of three, living near our house. I would like to know where they are nesting, as typically kingfishers will nest in the banks of creeks, or in termite nests. We are short on both commoditites.

Along the Road

This is one of the many reasons I love the New England area. I took this photo from the window of the car: the side of the road was dotted with these little embelishments as far as I could see in any direction. At other times it is daisies, daisies, daisies. It’s a little girl paradise.
