The Sky Walk

the-sky-walk dorrigo national park

I can’t tell  you what’s at the end.  It is unnatural to hang out in space in such a manner, and knowing that the board walk through the tree tops of this World Heritage listed national park, does,  in places,  suspend you 70 meters from the ground was quite enough for me.

  1. That’s so gorgeous. I know NSW is beautiful, but I never heard of this walk before. Sounds like a fun destination.

  2. It is a great place: the Dorrigo/Ebor area is abundant with spectacular scenery.

Thanks for taking the time to comment.

  3. Myphotoscout, I have just been wandering around your site. What a great idea to present information in such a useful way. : )

  4. Mrs BB, I am glad to hear I am not alone with my ‘fears’. We once went to Lamington National Park where they have a canopy walk above the trees. I went across it, hunched over, shaking all the way! I don’t know why I was hunched, as if that made any difference. It was wobbly and scary. No matter how beautiful the view was, did nothing to subside my fear of the shaking wobbly foot bridge. At least the one you have pictured looks more solid!

  6. Thank you Vimal. I can feel a little whoozy just looking at it.

Amanda, hunched, lol! You’re right – wouldn’t make one bit of difference. 😉

I made it about a third of the way down this one, hoping to get a photo over the valley and mountains surrounding. But some things just aren’t that important, right? The hardest part for me is normally that all the children fearlessly follow my husband, who has the baby in a sling, or worse – is holding her in his arms. I can’t watch. I am sure he leans over the edge with her just to mess with my head! 😯

But a wobbly suspension bridge? I take my hat off to you for even attempting it, crouched over, crawling on your knees or blindfolded! 😉
