A few of my favourite things..

Blossy and Maximilian

Blossy and Smaxi

Mulberry stained, still sandy from the sand pit, and having just liberated a flower from Grandma’s garden, Blossy shares a moment with Max.

  1. I usually do not like this sort of image but here, it works perfectly. The face, the fingers and that lovely dog snoot! Kids and dogs…it is a beautiful thing.

  3. beautiful photos…she’s growing up so quickly!

Just checked out you holiday shots…NZ is a stunning country…I hope that you get to go back for a more family holiday and see more of the country…you could spend 6 weeks in NZ and still have the need to go back to see it all!! At least it’s a compact country!

You are so talented my lovely friend… and you have a wonderful knack of capturing the perfect shot at the right time. Love this photo ~ one of my favourites.

The flower just sets it off perfectly. And, I love dogs. You know that, lol. Oh, and Blossy is just gorgeous. xoxox

  5. Burstmode, thanks. I don’t so much go for the cliche shots myself, but I was chasing butterflies when Blossy started raiding the garden (bit of a lapse of parental supervision!) When Maxi thrust his big ugly mug in, I couldn’t resist.

    Michaela, thanks! 🙂

Homemeadow, it’s so good to hear from you. I was just talking about my AHS friends today – while discussing politics with my baby sister 😀

NZ was so much prettier than I expected, and full of things I wanted to explore: it’s definitely on the “to do” list, to get back there.

You need to drop into SL and let us know how the wedding plans are going.

Amanda, lol! you’re too kind, but I know the way to your heart is to have a dog in the pic. 😉 Thanks for visiting, my sweet friends! xx

  6. Chweet!!! I’m a big fan of Blossy 😉
I can see the dirt in her lil nails! She was really having a great ‘garden-soil’ time 😀 I love off guard photography, which absorbs great moments. Cool shot!!

  7. Not being a photographer but I *love* these ;cliche’ shots- especially of children. Children often seem so natural in front of the camera- until they really learn what it is and then sometimes they try to ‘turn it on’,

I LOVE the photo. Have you framed it?

  8. Nivin, thanks, she does have a great get-dirty kind of time while visiting my parents. In this case, though, it’s the evidence of a mulberry feast you see under her nails.. 😀

Hello my Susan friend 🙂 Thanks for your kind comment. I haven’t framed it, I’m pretty slack about even printing out photos. I do like this one, though. It personifies the adventures of toddlerhood at Grandma’s house 😀
