I was trying to shoot a magnificent display of pansies for a friend who likes them especially. The pansy shots didn’t look as I’d hoped, but I liked a couple of the roses we passed as the light was fading.

Pansies (for ME) are probably the most difficult to photograph, although I did get a few good shots at the Arboretum last week.
Your rose is beautiful… love the heart-shaped petal in the foreground.

Interesting shape…this rose will not give itself up easily.
I posted a violet today. Or a viola…is there a difference. But they are kinda like pansies.

Burstmode, I’m convinced the pansies, violas and violets on your side of the world are more co-operative. Or you’ve charmed them. Or.. of course it could be that you are a master of flowers. Yours was great.
